James Durbin

They say that if you can blog for one year, you'll be a blogger for life. I'm not sure who the "they" are that make such pronouncements, but five generations in - I'm still creating new weblogs.

StlRecruiting sprang from my desire to combine blogging with my career. I wanted to find ways to use my blog to improve my business, but in no time at all, the blog became my business. I now own and work for my own company, Durbin Media Group (http://www.durbinmedia.com), where I sell online marketing and consulting services including blog campaigns.

StlRecruiting, in the meantime, is still about my passion for using blogs to get people hired. It is for recruiters, by a former recruiter, and it will change the face of hiring in St Louis.
